He studied at the Academy of Architecture in Mendrisio and worked for Herzog & de Meuron in Basel and SO – IL in New York. He is founder and director at Climate Words, Inc. and Paraply School, and teaches Sustainable Systems at Parsons School of Design.

An annual architectural summer school

The goal of the workshop is to foster adaptivity and resourcefulness, expressing the value of everyday and discarded objects through hands-on design alchemy. International architects, artists, teachers and designers are invited to work closely with participants to interpret post-consumer and demolition materials.
